The project: A strategic infrastructure (within the defence sector) programme where Mace has been appointed as one of the delivery partners to provide expertise in managing and delivering key infrastructure projects by bringing specialist skills to support the client's programme of infrastructure improvements. BPSS / SC clearance is required. This role will be based in the client's office 3 days per week.

You will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, up to C-Suite, to implement and manage our programmes.
You’ll need to have:
- Exposure of working as a Primavera P6 project planner on large scale civil engineering/infrastructure projects ideally for a tier 1 contractor or a client-side consultancy.
- Excellent written communication skills, clear & concise.
- In depth knowledge of schedule management tools & software.
- Stays up to date with current key industry/professional trends.
- Multi industry construction experience.
- Delivers service excellence.
- Problem solving.
- Strong management skills and talent development.
- Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with the client and other project stakeholders (internal and external).
- Significant experience in the use of planning techniques in a range of multi-disciplinary sectors.
- Ideally degree educated, preferably in a construction/engineering discipline (or equivalent).
- Digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
- Construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
You’ll also have:
- Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the consult sector.
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
