The project: In the energy sector, the UK will need to invest up to £900 billion of capital expenditure to enable a net zero economy by 2050. For our clients in the sector, this means delivering complex projects and programmes delivering low-carbon technologies and infrastructure safely, efficiently, and at pace. This role will work at the forefront of this, contributing to the delivery of construction projects connecting new generation and storage into the grid.
Working closely with client and contractor teams, you will build close working relationships to ensure that projects are progressing in accordance with contracted timescales and requirements.

You’ll need to have:
- Expert knowledge of schedule management tools & software.
- Mastery in setting up effective planning/schedule management systems & procedures.

You’ll also have:
- Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the consult sector.
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
- Excellent attention to detail & able to validate & check schedule management inputs, recording & reports produced, providing commentary & analysis.
- Develops internal connections. Identifying and analysing business risks.
- Working towards chartered/registered member of a relevant institution accreditation from recognised industry body (e.g APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA).
- Relevant CSCS card. Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements.
