A well-known national property occupier is seeking an additional property professional to join its existing commercial estate management team. This individual will have a broad estate management background, ideally with a particular focus on Landlord & Tenant and property management matters.

This is a home- and field-based position and, due to the patch to be managed, would suit someone based in the East Midlands, Yorkshire or North West regions.

The Role

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of a property portfolio across multiple locations
  • Leading rent reviews, lease renewals and lease restructuring negotiations (undertaking these directly, not just managing consultants)
  • Overseeing service charge budgets, income and expenditure forecasting
  • Managing vacant properties, including lettings and external agent appointments
  • Coordinating property inspections, reporting and compliance matters
  • Managing acquisitions and disposals of property interests
  • Instructing and managing professional advisers on dilapidations and party wall matters
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams on repairs, maintenance and refurbishments
  • Resolving estate-related issues in a proactive and commercial manner

About You

  • Significant experience in a comparable estates, Landlord & Tenant or property management role
  • Commercially minded, with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Confident communicator, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
  • Well organised, analytical and able to manage a complex workload
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
