Asset Management – Residential / BTR Senior Analyst
Hybrid – London
Our client is building out its UK residential platform and they are seeking to hire a Senior Analyst in an Asset Management capacity. This is an early, high‑impact role working directly with the Director to shape how a London residential portfolio operates, scaled and optimised. The platform is growing quickly and there is an increasing focus on operational improvement. This hire will play a central role in driving performance, sharpening strategy and executing a business plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Performance
- Understand the asset level business plans and support oversight across assets in lease‑up and stabilised assets, focused on rental income.
- Analyse operational and financial performance, challenge assumptions and property strategies.
- Visit sites to understand day‑to‑day execution, customer experience and operator performance.
- Support value‑creation initiatives across revenue, cost and capex opportunities.
- Build effective working relationships with the investment team and external property manager.
- Financial Analysis
- Maintain and update financial models, valuations and build scenario analyses for asset‑level initiatives.
- Translate operational drivers (pricing, leasing velocity, staffing, marketing) into financial outcomes.
- Prepare business plans, budgets and performance materials for senior leadership.
- Support with the preparation of investor reporting and materials.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability.
- Experience in operational real estate (BTR, PBSA, Hotels, Senior Living, Healthcare or similar) desirable but not essential.
- Confident working with operators and understanding day‑to‑day operational levers.
- Commercial, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a small, fast‑moving team.
- Willing to travel to sites and engage directly with operational teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or similar analytical field.
- 2-5 years’ experience in finance, asset management, lending, advisory or transaction services.
- Experience in residential/operational real estate is preferable but not essential.
- Excel skills.
