I am thrilled to be working with a unique legal business seeking to expand its already high performing team with additional hires of first class employment lawyers. This boutique firm works across various areas with core sectors being construction and building materials, health-care, defence and nuclear. It is a highly collaborative environment with a real team dynamic where careers are developed and supported at all levels.
As an employment lawyer at this firm you will:
- Help to grow and develop the employment law services, maximising opportunities and developing long-term, fruitful relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Advise daily on a wide range of both routine and complex matters, contentious or non-contentious, covering all aspects of employment law.
- Represent clients at the employment tribunal and the employment appeal tribunal, including carrying out any advocacy.
- Work on and manage a variety of clients' projects and deal with their day-to-day employment matters.
- Build and sustain relationships, develop new accounts, and provide innovative solutions, while offering clients innovative ideas about employment law services technology, approaches, and methodology.
Skills & Qualifications sought:
- An experienced employment lawyer with a track record of working with large private sector businesses.
- Ideally 5+ years’ Post Qualified Experience, more experience is also welcomed.
- A self-starter, able to work under own initiative.
- Solid technical competence in employment law.
- The confidence to credibly advise senior managers within large organisations.
- Up-to-date with modern working practices, while understanding the day-to-day pressures busy managers experience.
- Personable and professional with a confident communication style.
- The right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
