b Overview /b p In this role you act as the lead technical professional within Corporate Estates, delivering valuation and estate management across a large asset base. You will oversee external valuation consultants as Intelligent Client, support asset rationalisation and space optimisation, and manage statutory valuations including RTB, ensuring governance and RICS compliance. This role shapes the Council’s Asset Management Strategy and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximise value and efficiency. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide expert valuation and estate management across Council assets (operational and community) /li li Act as Intelligent Client for external valuation consultants to ensure accuracy and value for money /li li Support Head of Estates in delivering Asset Management Strategy (asset rationalisation and space optimisation) /li li Manage statutory valuation workload including Right to Buy (RTB) /li li Serve as primary contact for complex property casework with governance compliance (RICS Codes) /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li RICS qualified or equivalent experience in valuation and asset management /li li Proven experience in valuations and estate management across a large asset base /li li Experience with Right to Buy and statutory valuation workload /li li Ability to manage external consultants and ensure value for money /li li Strong governance and compliance with RICS Codes of Practice /li /ul ul li Valuation expertise /li li Estate management /li li External consultant management /li li RICS Codes of Practice compliance /li li Asset management strategy participation /li /ul
