If you are an experienced MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor looking to work across Project Management and Higher Risk Buildings, then this might be the right role for you. The firm continues to grow year-on-year and has recently expanded its offering to include a dedicated Building Safety & Compliance division, reflecting its forward-thinking approach and strong market position.
Role Overview
The role is a senior appointment within the Building Consultancy department, with a strong focus on Project Management, Contract Administration, Building Safety & Compliance, Residential and Higher-Risk Buildings. You will take responsibility for managing instructions end-to-end, from appointment through to delivery and billing, working with minimal oversight while collaborating with directors on larger or more complex schemes. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of projects, predominantly in London, with occasional travel across the South of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Building Surveying and Project Management services to a high professional standard
- Independently manage projects through all RIBA stages
- Act as a trusted technical and legal adviser to clients
- Support business development through client relationship management and work generation
- Work closely with senior leadership on major projects
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the wider department
Candidate Profile
- MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Confident managing complex instructions independently
- Experience or strong understanding of the Principal Designer role under CDM Regulations
- Building Regulations (including Higher-Risk Buildings)
- Interest in Building Safety, compliance, and quality-led delivery
