Macdonald & Company are working with a client side employer on the recruitment of a Property Asset Manager to help manage and grow a substantial commercial portfolio across a broad geographical estate. This role is ideal for a commercially driven, recently qualified MRICS surveyor with asset management experience and a client-focused mindset.
The Role
- Deliver full asset management services: lease renewals, rent reviews, valuations, landlord consents, inspections, service charges, and rent collection.
- Drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies across a 300+ unit estate generating £6M+ annual income.
- Identify and let vacant properties through marketing and tender processes.
- Provide strategic input aligned with retail and commercial objectives.
- Work closely with retailers, and internal stakeholders to enhance commercial performance.
- Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance with statutory standards.
About You
- MRICS qualified.
- 1–2 years’ experience in property/asset management.
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a dynamic portfolio.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel and attend site inspections.
