An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Property Accountant at one of the UK’s market leading property investment, development and asset management companies. Over a number of decades this business has built a high performing property portfolio which has been complemented by an astute entrepreneurial investment strategy culminating in a healthy development pipeline and exponential growth.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Property Accountant to contribute to the day to day financial management of their diverse and expansive property portfolio. As part of a warm, friendly and dynamic team you will be assigned to their prestigious residential portfolio undertaking the following duties:

  • Management of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, processing, coding and batching invoices and coordination of supplier payment runs across multiple entities.
  • Coordinate the preparation and posting of monthly journals.
  • Rental income and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Management and maintenance of multi‑entity ledgers ensuring all transactional data is recorded with the utmost accuracy and designated to the correct tenant accounts and SPVs.
  • Provide assistance with the preparation of detailed rental income and expenditure reports with variance analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts in conjunction with the variance analysis and detailed commentary.
  • Assist with the preparation of year end statutory accounts and audits.
  • Coordination and registration of tenant deposit with lease tracking and analysis of void units.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting & Finance or an AAT Level 2 qualification and above, preferably with a background in the property and real estate sector.
