About the Role
They are looking for a suitable candidate to join the Real Estate team as an Analyst in London β focusing on credit and hybrid investments across the capital structure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in analysing, structuring, recommending and when approved, closing new deals, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation.
- Assume primary role in financial modelling of transactions with assistance from deal lead.
- Assist with preparation of IC papers for submission to senior investment staff.
- Work with 3rd party managers in the evaluation of eligible transactions.
- Provide assistance to senior team members in business development, relationship management and manager performance monitoring.
- Provide assistance with the asset management and performance monitoring of existing loan positions and ensure timely and accurate reporting is submitted to control functions and senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background, with a degree in finance, accounting, banking or a related discipline.
- 1β3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within real estate debt financing, real estate debt capital markets, structured finance, or real estate-focused banking/advisory.
- Solid understanding of real estate financial structures and capital stacks, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong financial modelling skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg is advantageous.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Analytical, results-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple workstreams and deadlines.
