Are you a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) who can play a key part in managing projects across a large and diverse UK property portfolio. Working directly with the UK Property Director, you will act as a senior technical lead within the property function, ensuring that projects, transactions, and capital programmes are delivered with strong governance, clear reporting, and full legal and financial compliance. This role is ideal for a senior property professional who enjoys bringing structure, insight, and assurance to complex multi-site estates. You will provide senior oversight and coordination across the property team, supporting consistent and compliant delivery across the estate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing technical guidance and governance oversight to property managers across the UK portfolio
  • Ensuring legal, procurement, and contractual compliance across property projects and transactions
  • Leading portfolio reporting, capital planning, and budget tracking
  • Coordinating annual capex and maintenance planning across the estate
  • Supporting the preparation of business cases, investment proposals, and board papers
  • Acting as a central point of coordination between property, finance, legal, procurement, and operations
  • Mentoring colleagues and driving best practice, consistency, and continuous improvement

Strong knowledge of UK property law, leases, contracts, and statutory compliance along with experience of managing or supporting extensive property portfolios and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders is key to the delivery of this pivotal role. Homebased with occasional UK travel (driving licence essential).
