We’re seeking an ambitious Retail Land Acquisition / Land Assembly professional (Associate to Director level) to join a dynamic team working on behalf of one of the UK’s most successful and expanding retail brands.
About the Client
This is a unique opportunity to join a 15-person, high-performing team advising one of the UK's best-known national retailers on their growth strategy in the South of England. Our client is recognised for delivering smart, innovative, and commercially impactful property solutions to top-tier businesses across the UK and Ireland. With offices in central London and Manchester, they are leaders in the retail real estate sector—spanning High Street, Shopping Centres, Retail Parks, and Leisure developments.
The Role
You’ll lead the acquisition and land assembly strategy across the South East. Your goal: to identify and secure new sites to support the client’s ambitious expansion. You’ll develop and manage relationships with key industry stakeholders and provide strategic insight directly to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead site identification and acquisition initiatives for major retail growth plans
• Build and maintain a strong network of agents and advisors across the UK and Europe
• Shape and evolve acquisition strategies aligned with business growth objectives
• Develop and present business cases and board-level reports
• Produce high-quality presentations and market analysis
• Provide regular updates to the Property Director and senior stakeholders
• Support the wider property function as required

About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both strategic thinking and commercial acumen to the table. You’ll be a confident communicator, able to manage multiple stakeholders and make data-driven decisions.
Ideal Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate (ideally with retail focus)
• Proven expertise in land acquisition, site assembly, and development
• Strong understanding of the UK retail property market (Shopping Centres, Retail Parks, etc.)
• Ability to identify commercially viable opportunities
• Comfortable working independently and at pace
• Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
