The Diocese of London is seeking a Head of Asset Management to maximise the development potential of its property assets while championing community, social, and missional outcomes.
About the Role
As the Head of Asset Management, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties, including many listed buildings, across North London. Your responsibilities will include:
•Identifying and delivering value-add opportunities to enhance the portfolio’s financial, community, and social impact.
•Leading asset management strategies, including rent reviews, lease negotiations, and redevelopment projects.
•Preparing development appraisals, valuations, and project reports for board approvals.
•Monitoring market trends, planning legislation, and emerging opportunities to inform investment strategies.
•Driving sustainability initiatives and embedding environmental strategies into all projects.
•Managing a talented team, setting objectives, and ensuring delivery of strategic priorities.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
•Extensive asset management experience in both residential and commercial property, with a track record of overseeing redevelopment projects and managing listed buildings.
•MRICS accreditation or equivalent professional qualifications.
•Strong knowledge of property law, Landlord & Tenant Act, and listed building legislation.
•Leadership experience, including managing teams and delivering strategic plans.
•An understanding and empathy with the mission and values of the Church of England.
