Macdonald & Company are exclusively partnered with a privately held, family-led real estate investment business to appoint an In-House Block Manager. This is a newly created role following the decision to bring block management fully in-house. The successful hire will take ownership of the block management function across a residential and mixed-use portfolio, working closely with senior stakeholders in a small, highly accountable team. This role is suited to a hands-on Block Manager who enjoys ownership, clarity, and being trusted to run their portfolio without layers of hierarchy.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of a residential and mixed-use block portfolio
- Full ownership of service charge budgets, reconciliations, and queries
- Issuing and managing Section 20 consultations and major works programmes
- Contractor appointment, tendering, performance management, and compliance
- Oversight of statutory compliance including H&S and fire safety
- Regular site inspections and proactive issue resolution
- Acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders and internal stakeholders

- Proven experience in block / leasehold property management
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Service charges
- Section 20
- Major works
- Compliance frameworks

- Fully office-based role (Monday–Friday)
