Macdonald & Company are working with a client-side employer in Berkshire to recruit a Facilities Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a hands-on in-house team responsible for maintaining and managing the extensive building fabric and infrastructure. The role combines operational leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead and manage multiple in-house teams including maintenance, decorating, signage, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement building fabric maintenance strategies and PPM schedules.
- Conduct asset condition reports and plan lifecycle replacements.
- Support events, race-days, and non-race activities with technical expertise.
- Oversee fabric contractors, manage contracts, permits to work, and risk assessments.
- Take ownership of signage and branding across the venue.
Recognised qualification (NVQ Level 2 minimum) in a relevant trade. Proficient in MS Office and facilities management software. Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
