Role: Commercial Agency Surveyor This is not a passive “deal processing” role. You’ll be expected to take ownership of instructions, drive transactions, and actively contribute to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support junior members of the commercial agency team, providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring
- Manage acquisitions and disposals across office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use assets
- Advise clients on valuation, investment strategy, development potential, and market positioning
- Prepare high-quality marketing materials and launch targeted campaigns to generate demand
- Negotiate heads of terms and act as the key intermediary between landlords, tenants, purchasers, and agents
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships while actively generating new business opportunities
- Carry out property inspections, measurements, and maintain accurate internal systems and data
- MRICS qualified (or actively working towards qualification)
- Solid experience within commercial agency, with exposure to multiple asset classes
- Strong negotiation skills — you need to be able to hold ground and close, not just “facilitate”
- Demonstrated ability to win instructions and contribute to business development
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously
- Commercially aware, proactive, and comfortable operating in a client-facing environment
