Company Profile Established over 100 years ago, this independent commercial property consultancy has built a great reputation across South West London and the Home Counties. The firm works with a diverse client base including local occupiers, national businesses, financial institutions, developers, and public sector organisations. With a team comprising Chartered Surveyors, the business delivers a high standard of professional advice across the full commercial property lifecycle. Their service offering spans agency, investment, valuation, lease advisory, property management, and development consultancy, allowing them to provide clients with strategic, end-to-end support. The company combines long-standing market knowledge with a proactive, relationship-driven approach, positioning itself as a key player in its core regional markets.

Role: Commercial Agency Surveyor This is not a passive “deal processing” role. You’ll be expected to take ownership of instructions, drive transactions, and actively contribute to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support junior members of the commercial agency team, providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring
  • Manage acquisitions and disposals across office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use assets
  • Advise clients on valuation, investment strategy, development potential, and market positioning
  • Prepare high-quality marketing materials and launch targeted campaigns to generate demand
  • Negotiate heads of terms and act as the key intermediary between landlords, tenants, purchasers, and agents
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships while actively generating new business opportunities
  • Carry out property inspections, measurements, and maintain accurate internal systems and data
Key Requirements
  • MRICS qualified (or actively working towards qualification)
  • Solid experience within commercial agency, with exposure to multiple asset classes
  • Strong negotiation skills — you need to be able to hold ground and close, not just “facilitate”
  • Demonstrated ability to win instructions and contribute to business development
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and comfortable operating in a client-facing environment

Why This Role Stands Out If you’re looking for a role where you can hide behind process, this isn’t it. This position suits someone who wants visibility, responsibility, and the chance to directly influence deal flow and client relationships within a well-established regional firm.

Salary up to ÂŁ70,000 + Bonus
