We're working with a long-established, highly respected property consultancy, with expertise across South West London and surrounding areas, to find a proactive, experienced Chartered Commercial Property Manager to lead the management of a diverse commercial portfolio. This firm works with a broad client base spanning private landlords, local businesses, financial institutions, pension funds and developers, and prides itself on genuine long-term relationships, autonomy, and a collaborative, commercially-minded culture where ideas are encouraged and people are trusted to get on with the job.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, primarily retail, with some office and industrial assets
- Developing and implementing strategies to maximise asset value, rental income and occupancy
- Preparing, overseeing and controlling service charge budgets
- Handling lease renewals, rent reviews and service contract negotiations
- Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and managing agents
- Providing strategic advice to clients on market conditions, asset performance and investment opportunities
- Leading and supporting junior members of the property management team
What we're looking for:
- MRICS qualified
- Minimum 5 years' commercial property management experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial property law, leases and valuation principles
- Solid financial and budget management experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder skills
- Leadership or line management experience desirable
