Overview
In this role you will lead valuation and landlord–tenant matters for a large community pub estate, enabling accurate rent reviews and growth of the portfolio. You will join a small, specialist team and be expected to contribute immediately with minimal onboarding. You’ll work across a broad geography to support licensed property operations and leverage your sector expertise to drive efficient estate management. This position offers long‑term progression within a focused, growth‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- perform valuation and rent review work for a large community pub portfolio
- manage landlord and tenant negotiations and issues
- operate autonomously across a wide geographic patch
- support internal pub rent methodology and apply sector knowledge
- contribute to estate expansion and portfolio growth
- collaborate with a small, specialist team to meet targets
- understand and apply licensed/leisure property dynamics
- maintain high professional standards and comply with MRICS requirements
Key requirements
- MRICS qualification
- significant valuation and rent review experience
- strong sector knowledge in pubs/leisure property
- experience with in-house pub/hospitality operators or licensed/leisure property in private practice
- ability to work autonomously over a large geographic area
- familiarity with community pubs and the licensed property sector
