I’m working with a leading property consultancy who are searching for a Quantity Surveyor to take the step into leadership. This is a chance to grow a team, expand their client base, and shape the QS function in their Birmingham office. You’d be leading a 10+ team of more-junior Cost Managers with the support of two senior colleagues, and reporting directly into the Regional Director. You\'d be driving business growth, currently with a strong focus on the residential sector but they’re open to new sectors if that’s more what you know? And even if you\'ve not led a team before, this is exactly the sort of role you can step-up into. The salary is competitive to reflect the responsibility, plus car and bonus (Salary on the advert is for an AD. There\'s scope for a Director to come in too on a higher starting wage. There\'s hybrid working (typically 2–3 days in the office) with flexibility around client and site needs as always, and a clear progression path from Associate Director to Director, with performance-based promotions. Ideally, they\'d like someone with 7-10+ years’ experience, ideally in consultancy.
