I’m recruiting for an established building consultancy that’s looking for an Associate Director Building Surveyor to join its London team. The position involves technical delivery, client relationships, business development and team leadership and you’ll work closely with the Head of Building Surveying, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the team.The role As a senior member of the team, you’ll combine technical Building Surveying expertise with leadership and commercial responsibility. This will include:Delivering a full range of professional Building Surveying servicesContract AdministrationDilapidations adviceDeveloping new business relationships and growing existing client accountsPreparing fee proposals and contributing as a major fee earnerLeading projects from instruction through to completionMentoring and supporting junior surveyors, including APC candidatesWhat you need:MRICS5+ years’ post-qualification experienceStrong client-facing and communication skillsCommercial awareness and confidence developing client relationshipsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailGood IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeCAD/BIM experience would be beneficial but not essential If this sounds like a suitable role for you, feel free to get in touch.
