We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant or Facilities Manager to join a growing commercial property business managing a portfolio of high-quality office buildings, that are located around the Northwest region. This is a hands-on role for a proactive FM, initially supporting the Head of Facilities, who enjoys managing operations, compliance, contractors and client relationships across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hard and soft FM services across a commercial portfolio
- Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance
- Manage PPMs, reactive maintenance and contractor performance
- Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reporting
- Review RAMS and issue permits to work
- Build strong relationships with clients, tenants and suppliers
- Support site teams and act as the main escalation point for FM issues
- Drive operational improvements and high service standards
Requirements
- 2 - 5+ yearsβ FM experience within commercial office environments
- Understanding of hard & soft services and compliance
- IOSH qualified (NEBOSH desirable)
- Experience using CAFM systems and managing contractors
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required
