An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant level Commercial Property Management Surveyor to join a respected commercial property consultancy, involved in managing a diverse portfolio of retail, office and industrial assets. This role offers hands-on exposure to commercial property management as well as lease renewals, rent reviews and asset management, making it ideal for a surveyor looking to develop their career and progress towards RICS chartership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio
- Building strong relationships with clients and tenants
- Supporting lease renewals and rent reviews
- Assisting with service charge budgets and reconciliations
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring compliance requirements
- Coordinating maintenance and repair works
- Preparing client reports and property management updates
About You:
- Degree qualified in a property-related discipline
- Working towards APC/RICS qualification (or keen to start)
- Commercial property management experience, (ideally 2+ years)
- Understanding of landlord and tenant matters
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Positive, proactive and eager to develop professionally
- Hull / East Yorkshire based
