Macdonald & Company are partnering with a successful Architectural practice, based in the wider Merseyside area. This business is seeking to add to their team, with the recruitment of an experienced Architect or someone with 18 months+ practical experience, seeking that next step. The work is a diverse mix of residential and some commercial projects, predominantly based around the wider Northwest region. If you are technically strong and thrive within a delivery focused environment, then this may be the role for you!
The Role
- Lead projects through all RIBA stages (0-7), (dependent on experience).
- Produce detailed technical drawings and coordinate design information, using ArchiCAD.
- Prepare and manage planning submissions.
- Coordinate inputs from consultants.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and local authority bodies, (dependent on seniority).
- Ensure full compliance with council procedures, tender requirements, and reporting standards.
- Offer support to junior members of the team when required.
The Person
- ARB and RIBA‑registered Architect with 2-5+ years post‑qualification experience.
- A proven track record delivering both commercial and residential projects.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Proficient in CAD software - ArchiCAD preferred.
- Strong technical skills with a delivery focused approach.
- Strong communicator and can work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Must have full, indefinite Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
