Minor Works and Facilities Manager – Client Side – Home Based Midlands

Responsibilities

  • Manage maintenance, compliance and minor project work across the Midlands portfolio.
  • Working remotely (home-based), visit sites to assess condition and manage requirements as needed.
  • Build relationships with site teams, oversee planned maintenance and respond to reactive issues that cannot be dealt with on-site.
  • Ensure compliance across the estate; experience with facilities management and compliance is important.
  • Organise project work via JCT contracts: write specifications, tender to contractors and ensure quality of work.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience as a project manager, building surveyor, facilities manager or similar.
  • Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites; project delivery experience up to £300k is necessary.
  • Experience in facilities, compliance and maintenance is required.
  • Although chartered status is not required, it is beneficial.
