Minor Works and Facilities Manager – Client Side – Home Based Midlands

Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance, compliance and minor project work across the Midlands portfolio.
- Working remotely (home-based), visit sites to assess condition and manage requirements as needed.
- Build relationships with site teams, oversee planned maintenance and respond to reactive issues that cannot be dealt with on-site.
- Ensure compliance across the estate; experience with facilities management and compliance is important.
- Organise project work via JCT contracts: write specifications, tender to contractors and ensure quality of work.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience as a project manager, building surveyor, facilities manager or similar.
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites; project delivery experience up to £300k is necessary.
- Experience in facilities, compliance and maintenance is required.
- Although chartered status is not required, it is beneficial.
