Maccreanor Lavington is a multi-award-winning, design‐led architecture and urbanism practice with offices in London and Rotterdam, and we currently have an opportunity for a Studio Coordinator to join our team.
Our studio in Clerkenwell brings a team of 60 talented, interesting and diverse professionals together from around the world. We work to create places where all can thrive, designing and delivering whole city masterplans to single storey dwellings. Although we work in many sectors we have a particular interest in urban design, residential and education architecture.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be the first point of contact for all colleagues and visitors, and will be responsible for the smooth running of the office; a workplace where everyone is able to do their best work. This will involve sourcing, coordinating and managing all office facilities, services and supplies.
You will support the operational activities of all studio related activity, including working with the IT, HR, Marketing & Finance teams. You'll have a key role organising inductions and onboarding of new people, planning studio events and social activity, as well as helping ensure that the company is compliant with legal requirements around health and safety. For the right candidate, this role offers excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and experience in wider business areas.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseTo be considered for this opportunity you must demonstrate experience in a similar role and be proficient in English language. Ideal candidates will have excellent IT, Adobe tools, problem solving, time management, organisation and communication skills. You will have high standards and a sense of quality service delivery that aligns with our brand. You'll be pro‐active, a great team player and have a friendly and positive attitude.
As this role may involve HR and Finance administration it is essential that you have excellent attention to detail and understand the principles of confidentiality.
