The Role

  • To drive the growth of construction work-based learning opportunities at Cheshire College South & West by proactively engaging with employers, generating new opportunities, and securing high-quality industry placements.
  • This is a target-driven role focused on building and developing strong employer partnerships, supporting workforce development, and ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities for learners.
  • The post-holder will work within the Work Based Learning area. (Apprenticeship team)

Main Duties for this role include

  • Reflect the vision, mission, aims and values of the college.
  • Always support fully the College’s Aims and Objectives.
  • Contribute to business planning, monitoring and review
  • Contribute to team development and training activities.
  • Develop and grow key employer accounts in line with the College’s Strategic Plan and Work- Based Learning and meet agreed targets for activity.
  • Follow all agreed Quality Assurance and Risk Management Systems operating in the College and contribute generally to the establishment and development of a quality provision/service.
  • Proactively identify, engage and develop new employer partnerships within the construction sector to generate placement opportunities.
