Our Health and Social Care department is excited to announce an opening for a Lecturer in Health and Social Care. We are seeking a passionate and experienced candidate to join our dedicated team. Join us at Macclesfield College to shape the future of our students and make a lasting impact!

The Role

You will join a committed team of practitioners within a curriculum area that benefits from large student numbers. The team is dedicated to providing the best experiences for learners through innovative teaching in a well-resourced environment. The post involves marketing, delivering, and assessing a range of courses in Health and Social Care, including teaching at Level 1 and 2.

Main Duties

  • Plan and deliver teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure effective student progress.
  • Maintain teaching standards at least at a good or outstanding level to promote high success rates.
  • Assess learners' work accurately against awarding body criteria to ensure qualification achievement.
  • Follow college quality assurance procedures to support successful audits.
  • Utilize resources effectively to enhance learners' experiences and uphold professional standards.

Salary: Up to £37,182.02, dependent on skills and experience.
