*Job Summary*
We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Co Ordinator to join our team at Blythe Rose Care Home. The ideal candidate will assist in organising and facilitating recreational activities for residents, promoting social engagement and overall well-being.
*Duties*
Plan and implement a variety of engaging activities for residents, such as games, crafts, and outings
Encourage resident participation in activities to enhance their quality of life
Assist in setting up activity areas and ensuring they are safe and welcoming
Collaborate with the care team to tailor activities to meet individual resident needs
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback on activities
*Requirements*
Experience in a care home, nursing home, or assisted living environment is desirable
Understanding of senior care principles, including dementia care
Excellent communication skills to engage with residents effectively
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Passion for enhancing the lives of elderly residents through meaningful activities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.70 per hour
