We are looking for fully qualified Electricians to join Macbrook Gas LTD covering domestic work for customers in East Anglia and surrounding areas.
Fully qualified electrician with relevant UK electrical qualifications (e.g. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and Level 3 Electrical Installation ).
Experience installing, testing and commissioning domestic electrical systems .
Previous experience with solar PV, battery storage and/or heat pump installations is highly desirable.
Good understanding of electrical systems associated with air source heat pumps (ASHP) and renewable energy technologies.
Able to install and connect consumer units, isolators, cabling, protection devices, inverters and associated equipment .
Confident carrying out inspection, testing, fault-finding and certification of electrical installations.
Knowledge of relevant UK electrical regulations, standards and safe working practices.
18th Edition qualification required.
2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent is desirable.
NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent electrical qualification desirable.
BS 7671 knowledge and experience applying regulations in domestic installations.
Experience working alongside heating engineers, plumbers and renewable-energy installation teams.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, compliance and customer satisfaction .
Comfortable working at heights and in domestic properties, with appropriate safety awareness.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a wider installation team.
Desirable Renewable Energy Qualifications
Solar PV installation qualification/experience.
Battery storage installation experience.
Heat pump electrical installation experience.
Experience with EV chargers and other low-carbon technologies.
