Purpose of the role
The NbS Programme Manager (Biodiversity) is a part‑time, fixed‑term role within National Parks Partnerships’ (NPP) specialist nature based solutions team. The role will contribute to the team’s work to draw private finance into nature recovery activity across UK National Parks, with a particular focus on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and equivalent compliance and voluntary markets.
The NbS Programme Manager (Biodiversity) will lead on NPP’s biodiversity programme. This programme aims to share knowledge across UK National Parks, support National Park Authorities (NPAs) to develop habitat banks or other biodiversity market services, and engage with potential buyers and/or investors.
The NbS Programme Manager (Biodiversity) will be passionate about accelerating climate and nature action in National Parks and will share National Parks Partnerships’ bold ambitions to scale privately financed nature recovery across the UK.
