The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.
£11.61 ph PAYE or £14.48 ph CIS (+ van + on call, overtime) 8 week contract, starting asap. MacArthur Recruitment is seeking a Multi-skilled Operative with core skills in joinery / carpentry. As a multi-skilled operative you will be part of the repairs and maintenance team responsible for minor building works, maintenance and repairs to the client’s housing stock. Our client makes a positive impact on local housing and the people living there.
Primary skills in joinery and secondary skills in other trades such as:
- Basic plumbing
- Kitchen installations (Butt and scribe joints)
- Patch plastering
- Tiling/splash backs
- Floor screed, installing flooring
- Decorating (Preferable)
Health and Safety Cards / Qualifications:
- CSCS (trade specific)
- NVQ 2 / 3 (or equivalent)
Ideally current, however you can get these prior to starting:
- Asbestos Awareness
- Working at Height
- Manual handling training
There is paid on-call on a rota basis, approximately 1 in 4. You will be a front-line representative of the company, working within the community in tenants’ homes and other client’s properties. The role requires you to possess a high degree of professionalism and integrity and be able to communicate accurately (both written and verbally) to tenants, management and work colleagues.
