Administrator (Product Co-ordinator), Aspatria / Wigton, Cumbria

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Hours: 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri

MacArthur is recruiting for a successful manufacturing company for this position of Administrator (Product Co-ordinator) (no previous product experience is required, full induction will be provided).

Summary of the role:

The role is suitable for an experienced Administrator with a great eye for detail, organisation skills and proactive nature who would enjoy contributing to a successful team as well as learning and progressing. Working in a friendly team you’ll also bring your collaboration and communications skills to assist and guide the varying priorities of the stakeholders in the Product and Production teams to allow new product introduction.

Ideal experience and characteristics:

  • Excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Previous Administration or Office Support role
  • Willingness to collaborate and work with others to achieve a common goal
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to problem-solve
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently, plan and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in the main Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.

Key responsibilities:

  • Office Administration tasks / Office Support
  • Working with the Product development team, Production, Finance and other internal and external stakeholders to allow a smooth introduction of new products
  • Using MS Office tools to produce/manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, basic graphics, reports, schedules
  • Project involvement – samples, testing, paperwork, certifications, schedules, regular reports, POs (training given), data input, documentation, deliveries, logistics
  • Using in-house software (training provided)
  • Work with others to enhance progress against schedules.
