We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to join us in supporting our young male client. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by assisting with behaviour management, personal hygiene, and daily activities both within the home and in the community. We are seeking a warm hearted and compassionate candidate who can foster a strong, trusting relationship with the family, bringing both kindness and enthusiasm to this rewarding position.

Main duties of the job

  • The child requires consistent 1:1 supervision to ensure safety, comfort, and well being.
  • They need full support with all personal care tasks, as well as encouragement and gentle guidance to remain actively involved in their daily routines and activities.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 behaviour and safety support at all times.
  • Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene and personal care.
  • Encourage participation in daily activities, promoting independence wherever possible.
  • Support engagement in homebased and community activities.
  • Maintain clear, accurate records and report any concerns however small promptly.
  • Follow person centred care plans and work collaboratively with the family.

Days & Hours: Weekdays: 2 x weekdays : 6:30 AM to 09:30 AM

Person Specification

  • Unfortunately, we cannot provide VISA sponsorship
  • Excellent skills in record keeping and reporting.
  • Kind, patient, and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build a warm, trusting relationship with the family.
  • Experienced in working within a family oriented home environment.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and attentive to individual needs.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Experience or background in behaviour management, education, or complex care (beneficial but not essential).
