Can you do More? Are you an experienced Civil / structural designer in the infrastructure sector? We’re looking for a dynamic managing engineer to lead in a fast paced division delivering design of complex infrastructure in the growing Energy and Net Zero market.
About the Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in leading and developing design engineers and technicians. You’ll be accountable for ensuring customer delivery, overseeing design outputs and managing large regulated and renewable clients. You’ll shape how we deliver, introducing best practice, improving systems and processes, and ensuring that our skilled people deliver first-class service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate design teams delivering excellent design of civil and structural projects.
- Build strong client relationships, acting a key point of contact for large frameworks.
- Be involved in budgeting, man hours, resource allocation, health, safety, and compliance across work streams.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop the engineers capabilities and their development.
Qualifications
- Experience in a senior role within Civil Structural design services.
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering CEng or working towards.
Required Skills
- Strong people skills to engage, develop, and inspire technical design teams.
- Experience of complex infrastructure design projects, and construction interfaces.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: Up to £85,000 (dependent on experience) Car Allowance
