We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer in Civil construction to join an exciting D&B team in Yorkshire. The right person will have detailed knowledge of design engineering across civil and structural projects, possibly including foundations, concrete, steel, and buildings projects. The senior engineer will be able to lead on design projects themselves, and also to oversee junior engineers. The projects could range from a small foundation extension worth £50K to projects of over £10 million in value. This role is part of a Group and the attraction is being part of an excellent team which will lead to future management opportunities.
Skills we are looking for:
- Technical (Civils) design expertise in infrastructure and able to lead on projects
- Design Project management and ability to mentor and encourage people
- Ideally educated to degree level in Engineering and member of relevant professional body e.g., ICE. Chartership or working towards.
- A self-starter, with resilience, energy, and enthusiasm
