Senior Design Engineer Remote or work from Office. Salary to £85,000 and benefits package We are looking for a skilled Design engineer to lead civil design projects in major Civil construction of energy projects. This is to join an exciting business working on major infrastructure projects. The right person(s) will have skilled knowledge of design engineering across civil and structural design projects including; foundations, earthworks, concrete, steel and buildings. The senior engineer will be able to lead on design projects themselves, and also to oversee junior engineers. The projects could range from a small foundation extention worth 50K, to major schemes over £10 million. Skills required include; * Technical (Civils) design expertise in infrastructure, mass reinforced concrete, steel frame buildings and other structures * Energy sector experience is not essential * Ideally you will have worked for a recognised civil design employer and done Design Project management * Ability to mentor and encourage teams and work cross functionally with electrical engineers * Ideally educated to degree level in Civil Engineering and member of relevant professional body eg ICE. * Chartership or planning to work towards CEng. * A self-starter, with resilience, energy and enthusiasm * The role will offer an excellent salary, plus extensive package including flexible working, car, pension, healthcare and other benefits.
