We have just appointed a new Director of Design Engineering and we also require a Principal Electrical design engineer. This is a fantastic role to lead a team of HV design engineers for a major UK power infrastructure design and build group. If you are technically skilled in Substation design, ideally with Primary substation and P&C design, get in touch.
Experience is required across electrical T&D infrastructure projects. Knowledge on H&S and design co-ordination is essential. You should be able to step up and take responsibility in a fast-growing and significant HV Design & Construction business.
This is a UK-based role with travel and an excellent salary and benefits to six figures.
Our customer work involves:
- Grid Connections & Upgrades – Design and delivery of high-voltage (HV) connections for industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Full Design & Engineering Services – Developing concept-to-delivery solutions with DNO and IDNO requirements.
- Substation & Switchgear – Designing and constructing substations, transformers, and switchgear for efficient power distribution.
- Overhead Line & Underground Cabling – Designing and installing power transmission and distribution networks.
- Civils Works – Design of civil engineering including temporary works and structural foundations for power assets.
