There are becoming substantial differences across the NHS estate, with Trusts building new modern hospitals and those working within ageing infrastructure where the priority is keeping services running.

This growing divide raises implications for facilities and projects, organisational resilience and sustainability.

This role will work for the UK division of a global business, in the healthcare division. Part of an ambitious team, we are seeking a skilled Projects leader who has managed M&E delivery for NHS or healthcare customers in frameworks, or in other critical buildings environments with transferable skills.

The role requires a solid technical background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with management of stakeholders, change events and budgets. Ideal candidates will have a thorough understanding of operating in critical environments, healthcare, DC or manufacturing, managing sub contractors, leading HSE and able to ensure that projects are compliant and delivered to excellent quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of M&E install projects from inception to completion
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards of safety and quality
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, sub contractors and suppliers
  • Providing technical expertise to support the delivery of projects

Skills and Experience:

  • Engineering or related qualification
  • Ideally experience in critical facilities and or Healthcare
  • Mechanical Electrical Project management skills, with experience of relevant projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong management skills
