MACA are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team on a fixed term contract up to 12 months, working Monday to Friday in the Welshpool corporate office.
You will be a key member of a close-knit team and directly contribute to the effectiveness of our project delivery and success. You will be someone who takes on challenges, thrives on being busy, and also likes to be part of a positive, supportive team environment where we aim to have fun along the way.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in high volume blue-collar mining production recruitment.
- Advanced sourcing techniques to build strong talent pipelines and place hard to fill vacancies.
- Strong focus on diversity and inclusion by actively seeking to hire individuals from various backgrounds, cultures and perspectives.
- Experience in writing and posting job advertisements on external platforms (e.g. SEEK, LinkedIn, Job Boards, shortlisting, screening, interviewing, due diligence and offer management).
- Experience with candidate databases – Success Factors would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong administration skills and MS Office skills specifically in MS Word and Excel.
- The ability to maintain reporting requirements.
- Attention to detail and able to meet site compliance requirements.
- A proactive and flexible approach.
Responsibilities:
- To attract, develop, motivate, and retain a quality workforce.
- Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Provide expert advice on recruitment sourcing strategies and market trends.
- Recruitment of blue-collar production personnel to meet manning requirements.
- Develop and maintain genuine relationships with labour hire partners, candidates and internal stakeholders including Mining Superintendents and Project Managers.
- Provide recruitment data to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Strive to establish a culture encompassing the vision and core values of MACA.
- Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.
