MAC, the global authority on make up is seeking a Counter Manager for their counter based within Stansted Airport – the MAC brand are the iconic brand, which has stood by its ethos of \”All ages, all races, all genders\”. This is a fantastic role for someone with management experience and a passion for the MAC brand and retailing. The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, as this role is in the airport, you would need to work some weekends, and weekends are split fairly across the team. Stansted stores open at 4am, so an early shift starts at 4am, and a late shift would finish about 9pm. You would work a mixture, of early shifts, middle shifts and late shifts across the week, in accordance with business needs. The airport is a dynamic and fast paced environment, Stansted is an incredibly busy airport, so you need to be agile and responsive to the business need. What the role is all about? This is a management position, where you lead and drive the make up artists to retail success – it is all about the customer experience, ensuring each and every customer gets a great MAC experience on visiting the counter. Driving retail sales – the ability to understand and communicate sales targets and expectations, leading by example Delivering 5 star service Developing and managing the talents of every team member – being clear about goals and objectives Operational excellence – this involves managing stock, events and merchandising guidelines Ideal candidates will have: Experience in retail environment – ideally a make up brand but not essential – you do have to be passionate about the cosmetics industry Ability to confidently manage a team – being able to inspire and motivate a team to deliver results Professional attitude and positive outlook on business and the commercial success of the business – the ability to build internal relationships with key stakeholders is essential. The ability to work at pace, this is a dynamic retail environment, with a need to be responsive and agile What you get?
