Friday We're recruiting for a
Technical Sales Engineer
to join an established organisation within the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) sector. This is a predominantly inbound, solution-led sales role, working closely with customers and specialist engineering teams to understand product testing requirements and develop appropriate technical and commercial solutions. The opportunity could suit either an experienced
technical sales professional
from a testing or engineering environment, or a
Test Engineer looking to move into a more commercial, customer-facing role . The Role
Manage inbound customer enquiries and sales opportunities
Understand product testing and qualification requirements
Prepare technical quotations and commercial proposals
Work closely with engineering and laboratory teams
Develop relationships with new and existing customers
Follow up warm leads and support larger commercial opportunities
Manage opportunities through CRM
What We're Looking For
Engineering or technical background
Experience within laboratory-based product testing or product qualification
Experience across areas such as
EMC, environmental, vibration, shock or related testing
Strong technical aptitude with good customer-facing skills
Commercial experience is advantageous but not essential for technically strong candidates
Experience within
Defence or Aerospace
would be particularly beneficial, with Marine, Rail and Automotive backgrounds also considered
Full UK driving licence
Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance
