The Role: This is a hands-on position within a specialist laboratory environment, focused on testing wireless and electronic devices against industry standards. You will work with a wide range of technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth, and other communication systems playing a key role in ensuring products are safe, compliant, and ready for market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of electronic and RF/wireless devices in line with regulatory standards
- Set up and operate laboratory-based test equipment
- Record, analyse, and interpret test data and results
- Support the preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Work closely with engineers and internal teams to ensure testing requirements are met
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure testing is carried out safely and accurately
- Keep up to date with evolving wireless technologies and standards
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Exposure to RF principles through university projects, coursework, or industry experience
- Familiarity with RF test equipment such as signal generators and spectrum analysers (hands-on or academic exposure)
- Understanding of electronic testing methods and laboratory environments
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical work
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
Eligibility:
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for a minimum of 3 years. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
