Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in High Voltage (HV) systems looking to play a key role in the operation of critical renewable energy assets? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading owner and operator within the renewable energy sector for an Electrical Engineer to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a major generation asset. This is a client-side engineering role where you will act as the technical authority for electrical systems, working closely with operations teams and specialist contractors to maximise plant availability and long-term asset performance.
This isn’t a purely desk-based design role, nor is it a position where you will spend every day on the tools. Instead, you will combine technical engineering expertise with contractor management, maintenance planning and project delivery, stepping in as the first point of technical escalation for electrical issues. Perhaps the biggest attraction is the opportunity to genuinely shape the role. The business is looking for someone who wants to take ownership, challenge existing approaches where appropriate and help develop the electrical engineering function over the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of HV electrical systems.
