An established energy facility in South Lanarkshire is looking to appoint an EC&I Engineer to join its on-site maintenance team. You’ll be part of a small, experienced team, offering strong exposure across plant systems and the opportunity to get involved in both maintenance and improvement projects.
The Role
- Fault finding and root cause analysis across EC&I systems
- Supporting plant reliability and performance improvements
- Working closely with Operations and Maintenance teams on a live site
- Involvement in projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement activities
- Maintenance and support of control systems, instrumentation, drives, and electrical distribution
- Working within permit-to-work systems and site safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) or similar
- HNC / NVQ / Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience within an industrial / process / plant environment preferred but not essential
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with control systems, instrumentation, and electrical distribution
- Understanding of safe systems of work (permit to work, isolation, etc.)
