We are working with a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major renewable energy and civils projects across Scotland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Section Engineer to support delivery of a long-term project in Inverness. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business involved in large-scale energy infrastructure, offering long-term career progression and exposure to complex projects.
The Role
You will play a key role in the successful delivery of civils packages, supporting the Project Manager and overseeing all aspects of site engineering. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day site engineering activities
- Setting out, QA, and ensuring works are delivered to spec
- Producing and managing RAMS, ITPs, and quality documentation
- Carrying out design checks, take-offs, and technical reviews
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme adherence
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
Looking For
- Experience in a Section Engineer / Site Engineer role within heavy civils
- Strong background in at least one of the following:
- Earthworks
- Reinforcements
