We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Procurement & Warehousing Assistant to join a growing and dynamic organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative, purchasing, and inventory management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with sourcing goods and obtaining supplier quotations.
- Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock.
- Organise and maintain warehouse storage areas to support efficient stock control.
- Carry out regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare and issue materials to support operational requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and warehouse best practices.
- Provide general administrative support for procurement and warehouse operations.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, stores, warehousing, or inventory control.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with inventory management or ERP systems (advantageous).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
