MRG has partnered with Darcey Quigley, one of the UK’s leading Commercial Credit Management Consultants, as they look to recruit multiple Business Development Executives, due to continued growth and success across the organisation. This role will suit someone with a passion for engaging with businesses and building relationships, who has excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset. What You’ll Be Doing: * Use CRMs, LinkedIn, industry databases, and your own research to develop prospects and create a robust lead funnel. * Customer and client outreach, emails, social selling. Some real tenacity to get in front of the right people. * Ask the right questions, understand company pain points, and identify genuine commercial opportunities. * Maintain a clear, up-to-date pipeline and CRM activity that shows where every opportunity stands. * Collaborate with marketing to develop messaging and convert opportunities together. * Understand your industry, your competition, and stay close to emerging trends. Key Experience Required: * 3+ years in outbound sales or business development, ideally B2B. * A proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets. * Charisma and confidence when cold calling or sending that first email. * Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator. * Resilience, curiosity, and a proactive attitude. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Great organisation with strong attention to detail. Some nice to have’s: * Financial Services sector experience. * Familiarity with sales frameworks like SPIN, Challenger, or MEDDIC. * Experience personalising outreach to different industries or decision-makers.
