Job Description Industrial Maintenance Electrician Salary: Β£39,879 - Β£43,901 + Overtime + Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established industrial business based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across a wide range of industrial equipment, helping to maximise reliability, minimise downtime and support the safe operation of the site. Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving site performance while contributing to ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement activities. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on on industrial electrical equipment. Responding to electrical breakdowns and carrying out fault finding and repairs. Diagnosing faults on industrial electrical equipment and control systems. Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics. Carrying out electrical isolations and working within Permit to Work procedures. Supporting planned maintenance activities, outages and shutdowns. Working closely with operations and the wider engineering team to improve equipment reliability and site performance. Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping. A recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent electrical qualification. Previous experience within an industrial electrical maintenance environment. Strong electrical fault-finding skills. Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance. The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Experience working safely within industrial maintenance environments. Engineers from sectors such as manufacturing, food & beverage, ceramics, building products, heavy industry, utilities, recycling, aggregates, cement, paper or other process industries are encouraged to apply. 40 hours per week. ~Four-week rotating pattern with only 1 weekend in 4 required. Overtime paid at enhanced rates where applicable. Call-out payment plus enhanced overtime rates when required. Pension. Life Assurance. Employee Assistance Programme.
