MRG is delighted to be partnering with one of our key Financial Services clients in Glasgow, as they look to hire an experienced Senior UX Designer to join their marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and user-focused professional to make a significant impact on this organisation's digital marketing products. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.
- Perform usability testing and analyse feedback to refine designs.
- Develop detailed wireframes, user flows, mockups, and other product deliverables.
- Envision and develop intuitive, scalable, and engaging interaction designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Work with our in-house User Research department to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
- Communicate designs through meaningful UX deliverables such as sketches, storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, and presentations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, and Overflow.
- Strong understanding of user research and the ability to translate insights into designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Financial Services industry would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
- Degree or certification in UX design, interaction design, graphic design, or a related field.
