A Scottish founded tech company with offices in Dundee & Aberdeen are looking to hire a Network Engineer, with experience in Cisco networking. This business have re-organised over the last 12 months and now find themselves in a phase where growth and new opportunities are at its peak.
The role is to design, secure, implement, and manage a multi-datacentre network (WAN/LAN/edge) platforms and customer networks and the variety of network services they provide to customers. This role involves working mainly with Cisco router, switch and firewall technologies, as well as other technologies and services.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Understanding of OSI model layers
- Knowledge of networking & routing protocols
- Understanding of network security
- Understanding of monitoring principles & tools including Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Nagios.
The salary is up to £40,000 + a comprehensive benefits plan which includes 34 days holiday, matched pension, countless learning and development courses, programmes and certifications.
